35 weeks!

35/35! Love this -- 35 weeks down, 35 (+/-) days to go! G is looking fabulous. I had an ultrasound on Thursday and ah, she blew my mind. She is so beautiful! She is weighing in at 5lbs 4 oz :) she gave some great poses for photos too -- I'm so excited to meet her, so is T! It's so neat to see T see G on the ultrasound screen-- she points out her features and gets so excited. T is going to be a great big sister! I have a doctors appointment this Wednesday (the 3rd) - my 1st internal exam, so we will see whats going on down there. I have been having some SERIOUS braxton hicks and a lot of pressure, back pain is still as bad as it has been, but I really am trying to look past it seeing how much time I have left. ah- I forgot the best news.. SHE IS HEAD DOWN!! Maternal head down actually -- meaning if you were looking at me she is head down laying spine on (your) left side with her feet dangling on (your) right side. It's so awesome to be able to know actually what I'm feeling (well 99% sure- she could move of course, but there isn't MUCH room for her too, so she SHOULD stay put :) WAHOO!!!!!)

beautiful <3

THIRTY-FIVE WEEKS!
Baby is the size of a(n): COCONUT!

Growing, growing, growing. Yup, baby and you. You’ve reached 35 weeks, and your uterus has grown about 1,000 times its original size, a number that might sound exaggerated to everyone else -- but to you it probably feels more like a million. You can expect to gain about a half-pound a week before birth, and baby’s beefing up, too. At 35 weeks, some moms-to-be feel like they have a ton of stuff left to do before baby’s arrival. Others can barely wait for baby to make his debut. Either way, try not to stress. Baby will show up when he’s ready, and he won’t care if you haven’t checked every little detail off your list.

New Symptoms:  pressure! Lots of pressure ~ I started googling early signs of labor because it feels so weird. I don't really remember what it was like with T because I was under so much stress because of the fire (long story for another day):/
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9lbs... strange I know.

Maternity Clothes:  Since the cold weather is starting to settle in, I am rocking leggings/spandex and pretty tops -- so comfy :)
Stretch Marks: NONE! (keep fingers crossed)
Sleep: I recently have been staying up so much later and still waking up super early, but strangely enough feel okay ~ haha, oh baby G what are you doing to me?!
Movement: SO MUCH MOVEMENT <3
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing new :)
Gender:  GIRL :)
Belly Button In or Out:In!
What I Miss:   belly sleeping :( or even sleeping flat on my back- I can last about 10 minutes and I have to roll with a loud grunt- haha!
What I am Looking Forward To: my regular OBGYN appointment. This week starts the weekly visits-- we are getting so close 34 (+/-) days to goooooo!

T loving on her baby sister :)

Happy Sunday!

belly growth- haha!

wow- just went through my old posts-- what a belly change :)
keep growing G :)

Making a decision to have a child--it's

momentous. It is to decide forever to have

your heart go walking around outside your

body ~ Elizabeth Stone <3

34 weeks!

holy moly- I'm ready, haha- I feel like time is FLYING but also going slow as a SLUG-- is that even possible?? I'm so anxious for G to get here, but also stressing because she is still BREECHED -- good lord child you are giving your mother a heart attack and you aren't even in the real world yet.
Cutest thing happened to me yesterday (Thursday)- don't ever remember it happening with T, I was sitting on toilet having "mommy time" (sorry if TMI) and I kept feeling her what I thought was kicking I continued to read my magazine until i realized, oh my gosh, she has the hiccups! Felt so neat!! They went on for over a minute, I felt bad for the poor girl but couldn't help but smile each time I felt one <3
I had my doctor's appointment on Tuesday, everything looks good, she's measuring correctly and what not, but had to have the talk about her being breeched. Doc said not to worry... yet... at my next appointment (about 2 weeks) if she still feels breeched I will have an ultrasound to prove it and then could possibly be sent over to the hospital to have her manually turned -- AH, scary. I need to do some research on that first. He said I would be given a shot to relax my uterus so there is a little more room, and then he would literally push on my belly to try to turn her... yeah, I'm PRAYING she turns on her own.
Short post this week, I'm going to try to lay down for a little bit while T is still asleep- this is the most recent photo of her-- my gosh is she beautiful <3 love you sweet girl!

cheeeeese :)

THIRTY- FOUR WEEKS!
Baby is the size of a: BUTTERNUT SQUASH!

Watch what you say! Your curious baby is listening in to your conversations at 34 weeks -- and might enjoy a lullaby or two -- so go ahead and sing to him. Some say that baby will recognize songs mom sings while he’s in the womb, and may even be more easily soothed by them if he’s used to them once he’s on the “outside.” At week 34, you might breathe a little easier, since baby may descend lower into your pelvis and give your lungs some space. (Ahh!) Of course, some babies don’t do this until the day they’re born, so we’re not making any guarantees. The pitfall of this descent, of course, is even more pressure on your bladder, so be prepared to make even more trips to the ladies room over the coming weeks.

New Symptoms:  Dizzy spells ~ I haven't been drinking as much as I was a few weeks ago, because honestly I keep forgetting so I think I have been dehydrated which is causing the dizzy spells, but I hate them. The worst one was when  I was driving with T in the car, I started to panic- but remembered I had to keep it together to where I could pull over for her safety- it was such a strange feeling. I now carry my nalgen bottle with me WHERE-EVER I go!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Well, I went to the doctors on Tuesday and I am DOWN 2 lbs-- not sure how?! I eat, plenty- and sometimes not the greatest food- so total weight gain is 9lbs

Maternity Clothes:  same -->yes, since the weather is cooling down I have had to pull out some of the maternity clothing, but still rocking the dresses with quarter sleeve cover ups :)
Stretch Marks: NONE! (keep fingers crossed)
Sleep: I am getting so much more tired during the day. I really try to relax at least when T naps (that's IF she naps) but I think it's time I actually nap with her. My energy by 2pm has dwindled so much that I have to eat something a little sugary to wake myself up :(
Movement: SO MUCH MOVEMENT <3
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing new :)

Gender:  GIRL :)

Belly Button In or Out:In!

What I Miss:   feeling rested :/ -- I just don't feel 100% and think its unfair to T-- I am doing the best I can, so I guess that's all I can ask for!
What I am Looking Forward To: my ultrasound appointment was rescheduled for this coming thursday- bummer, but since I have been getting them for free looks like I can't complain!

Happy FaLL :)

sweet smell of faLL :)

33 weeks!

what a week!! I'm really losing track of time and my brain (haha); I remembered everyone else's appointments this week, but my own! I will have to call tomorrow to reschedule, I hate when I do that though! Exciting thing is I have an ultra sound on Thursday :-D love those appointments!

silly girl <3
<3

I got so much accomplished this week, well really today actually- my nesting phase has kicked in again; I cleaned out our huge closet downstairs to make room/a set up for all of T's fall/winter clothes - I honestly thought I was going to stop mid way just because I was so tired and my feet were swollen by 3pm, but I knew it would drive me crazy to wake up and see the mess tomorrow morning knowing I couldn't get to it until sometime this week because I have a lot going on. First of all- my mom is pretty awesome. I absolutely HATE shopping when I have too- finding someone here or there for the hell of it, yeah sure, any day but when I have to basically get a whole wardrobe together-- I'd rather have my nose hairs plucked out one by one, haha that's a bit extreme (and sounds brutally painful) but you get the idea -- as I was saying -- thanks to my mom i know longer have to worry what so ever. she hooked T up!!!! I will post photos tomorrow since my computer is deciding not to cooperate; my girl will not wear the same outfit twice that's how good my mom is- THANKS MOM!

THIRTY-THREE WEEKS
Baby is the size of a : DURIAN!

We’d tell you to take a deep breath and relax, but it’s probably tough to do either of those at 33 weeks. It’s probably tough to be comfortable at all, since you might be feeling overheated on top of your other symptoms, too. But you’re probably getting super excited to meet baby, and we can’t blame you. Week 33 is a good time to make sure you have a safe car seat for baby -- go ahead and install it already. Sure, you might not see baby for another month, but if you have an early surprise arrival, that’s the one thing you really need to have ready.

New Symptoms:  HOT all the time-- cant ever get cool enough without being TOO cold.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: whoops- missed the appointment thursday, will find out this week!
Maternity Clothes:  yes, since the weather is cooling down I have had to pull out some of the maternity clothing, but still rocking the dresses with quarter sleeve cover ups :)
Stretch Marks: NONE! (keep fingers crossed)
Sleep: I have a regular routine these days- go to bed around 10:30 - which is late in my opinion, since I wake up at 630, work 8 hours a day with DD with me (lucky mama), and no nap- haha, anyway- roll from side to side about every 2 hours and get up around 330 to pee, take 20-30 minutes to fall back asleep... its been happening the last 5 days and am actually okay with it :)
Movement: SO MUCH MOVEMENT <3
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing new :)
Gender:  GIRL :)
Belly Button In or Out:In!
What I Miss:   same :) I'm sitting here thinking "what do I miss...?" I could say the usual, not having heart burn, or having to wake up to pee every night or non-swollen feet.. but honestly, I know it's all for G, so I don't care anymore :) bring it on!
What I am Looking Forward To: -- same -->SAME --> Going back for another 3d/4d ultra sound--just because. I finally got to see her beautiful face and fell even more in love with her <3

THIRTY-TWO WEEKS!
Baby is the size of a: SQUASH!

At 32 weeks, baby’s birth still seems kind of far away, but you and baby are physically ready in a lot of ways, just in case there’s an early arrival. Baby may have turned so she’s in the head-down position by now, poised for her trip down the birth canal. And you may have noticed your nipples looking darker. That’s so a preemie can see them for breastfeeding -- isn't your body so amazing? Intensity might be building in the symptoms department, as heartburn and contractions intensify around week 32. But we’re guessing you’re so excited about baby’s impending arrival, they’re not slowing you down much

New Symptoms:  Nothing new!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Bi-weekly appointment on Thursday, will find out then!
Maternity Clothes:  no change, the nice part of it being dresses all the time, they grow with you ;)
Stretch Marks: NONE!
Movement: SO MUCH MOVEMENT- I actually felt her flip back into the breached position (which I'm not to happy about) on my way to my 3d appointment, BUT think she may have turned again-- I'm feeling some serious kicks to my ribs and boobs haha. I love the woman I go to for elective ultrasounds, we have actually become pretty close with sharing personal things, and on the plus side she said she loves when I come so we can chat so she asked me to come back in 2 weeks (I'll be 35 weeks) again.. FREE OF CHARGE-- she didn't have to ask me twice!
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing new :)
Gender:  GIRL :)
Belly Button In or Out:In!
What I Miss:  I'm sitting here thinking "what do I miss...?" I could say the usual, not having heart burn, or having to wake up to pee every night or non-swollen feet.. but honestly, I know it's all for G, so I don't care anymore :) bring it on!
What I am Looking Forward To: -- SAME --> Going back for another 3d/4d ultra sound--just because. I finally got to see her beautiful face and fell even more in love with her <3

Looking forward to the next 8 weeks to FLY by!

31 weeks!

Single digits!! Only 9 (+|-) weeks until D day! This past

week has been pretty good! I actually got decent sleep each

night and woke up feeling pretty good :) I went to by doctors

appointment on Wednesday and everything looked pretty

good- meet the new doctor and liked her a lot. She's younger

and was very kind which was nice to find out and a relief to

know that any doctor tht ends up being on call the day/night

G decides to make her grand entrance I will be happy with!

My boobs are growing every week- which is not the greatest, I

mean some women love that their boobs grow during

pregnancy but not me... These things are HUGE and barely

manageable- haha! D asks just about every day "babe, wow-

they are still growing??" good thing I have a sense of humor

right?

Anyway, I also went for a 2nd appointment for my

elective ultra sound, because the 1st time miss G decided to

barrier her face into my spine, also during that ultra sound I

found out she was BREACHED- which freaked me out, well

at appointment number 2 she had turned head down (thank

goodness!) but the little bigger was still facing my spine and

REFUSED to turn around! I bounced on a ball , drank some

juice, poked and nothing! I am dying to see her face: at this

point when I was pregnant with T we were able to see that

she had her daddy's nose and was absolutely beautiful. I have

NO doubt G is going to beautiful just like her sister but agh! I

want to see that face! I go back for a 3rd time on Thursday

ad will be drinking plenty of smoothies, juices etc to make

sure she is in motion and hopefully catch a glimpse!

reality has set it- G is coming very soon!!!
My precious T has made another friend which makes me

so happy. The little girl happens to live in our neighborhood

and her mom like me has been looking for a friend as well so

it just worked out. T is so proud to have friends- everyday

she asks "mom, where my fwends?" its so sweet- I'm so glad

she has them, what great kids!
loves to paint :)

THIRTY-ONE WEEKS!
Baby is the size of a: PINEAPPLE!

Welcome to week 31. Can you believe all five of baby’s senses are fully developed? He also keeps getting smarter. That’s probably good to know, since you might actually feel a little dumb. You’re not! It’s just that many moms-to-be find themselves acting absentmindedly during the third trimester. Some say that “pregnancy brain” isn’t a proven physical ailment, but can you think of another time in your life when you’ve had more on your mind than now? We’re guessing no. That right there is enough of a reason to be so forgetful. From 31 weeks on, you’re bound to feel a lot of the same symptoms -- some may get worse, some may become bearable. And you might start to have more trouble getting around as you get heavier and feel more and more short of breath. Remember not to push yourself too much. It’s good for you and baby to get some exercise, but definitely take breaks to rest as much as you need.

New Symptoms:  Nothing new!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 11lbs! <-- still! Went to my appointment on Wednesday and she has I had gained no extra weight, and since they use mini laptops now that keep everything neat and organized I figured I'd ask what the total weight gain was and when she said 11lbs, I almost died-- happily! :)
Maternity Clothes:  no change, the nice part of it being dresses all the time, they grow with you ;)
Stretch Marks: NONE! (keep fingers crossed)
Sleep: I actually got decent sleep this week- I'm not sure if my body has just adapted, or if it just got used to less sleep- but I wake up feeling pretty good! I still toss and turn a bit, but that doesn't matter too much!!
Movement: SO MUCH MOVEMENT- I love that I can see her move <3
Food Cravings/Aversions: nothing new :)
Gender:  GIRL :)
Belly Button In or Out:In!
What I Miss:  Belly sleeping, I tend to try to roll on my belly in the middle of my sleep, and wake up like.. damnit, back to the right or to the left- haha
What I am Looking Forward ToGoing back for another 3d/4d ultra sound--3rd appointment since miss G is so stubborn (like her daddy) :)

Happy Saturday!
